No obstante, tras una persecuci\u00f3n los&nbsp;agentes detuvieron a un total de&nbsp;<strong>67 sospechosos<\/strong>, tanto hombres como mujeres. En el sitio tambi\u00e9n se encontraron algunos tipos de&nbsp;<strong>drogas&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2014incluyendo &#8216;molly&#8217; y \u00e9xtasis\u2014, vestidos para ceremonias de matrimonio gay, entre otros objetos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;El estado de Delta no es lugar para ning\u00fan tipo de relaci\u00f3n entre personas del mismo sexo&#8221;<\/strong>, dijo el comisionado de la Polic\u00eda, Wale Abass, al agregar que &#8220;condena&#8221; este acto porque el matrimonio es v\u00e1lido solo entre un hombre y una mujer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nigeria aprob\u00f3 en 2014 una ley que penaliza con\u00a0<strong>14 a\u00f1os de c\u00e1rcel<\/strong>\u00a0a aquellos que contraigan\u00a0<strong>matrimonio homosexual<\/strong>\u00a0o tengan un\u00a0<strong>acuerdo de uni\u00f3n civil<\/strong>. Por otra parte, las personas que ayuden o sean testigos de este tipo de boda pueden recibir condenas de hasta\u00a0<strong>10 a\u00f1os de prisi\u00f3n<\/strong>.
