Virginia Robinson Fuentes de la Facultad de Ciencias M\u00e9dicas y Biol\u00f3gicas \u201cDr. Ignacio Ch\u00e1vez\u201d y por el Dr. Pedro Corona Ch\u00e1vez, del Instituto de Investigaciones en Ciencias de la Tierra (INICIT), ambos con amplia experiencia en el dise\u00f1o y desarrollo de proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n de alto impacto regional en el \u00e1rea de salud p\u00fablica y la contaminaci\u00f3n ambiental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los resultados de este proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n contribuir\u00e1n para \u201cconocer el grado de prevalencia de esa enfermedad, sus par\u00e1metros epidemiol\u00f3gicos en la regi\u00f3n de estudio y las afectaciones colaterales en la econom\u00eda, las din\u00e1micas sociales y laborales que ocasiona el padecimiento\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La
